Southern Architecture Workshop (SAW), is a small design firm in Nashville, TN dedicated to designing spaces for community in close relationship with our team and clients. Position Overview:

As an Architectural Project Manager at SAW, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of architectural projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong leadership abilities. This is an in-person position.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and manage architectural projects from inception to completion, including design development, documentation, and construction administration.

-Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals and objectives are met.

-Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

-Review and approve design documents, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

-Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.

-Address and resolve project issues, risks, and changes in a proactive manner.

-Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are upheld.

-Prepare and present project reports, updates, and presentations to clients and senior management.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.

-Licensed Architect.

-LEED Accredited Professional preferred.

-Minimum of 8 years of experience.

-Demonstrated history of design excellence from concept to execution.

-Proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.

-Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.

-Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction processes, and building codes.

-Excellent project management skills with the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently.

-Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

-Experience with and technical knowledge of multiple structural, architectural, and finish systems.
