Rankin Designworks is a boutique architecture practice specializing in custom residential design. Our work includes additions, renovations and new construction projects designed for modern living, but rooted in a classical architectural vocabulary. We are focused on providing great design, that incorporates quality craftsmanship, while providing an excellent client experience.

We are seeking a Project Architect to join our team and contribute across all phases of design and documentation. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with our small team on highly customized residential projects, contributing meaningfully to both design development and project delivery.

Responsibilities
• Develop design concepts and contribute to all phases of project work
• Produce design development and construction documents for custom residential projects
• Create 3D models and high-quality renderings to support design intent and client presentations
• Collaborate on integrating 3D modeling and visualization into the firm’s workflow
• Coordinate with consultants and assist in resolving construction detailing

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential architecture
• Strong understanding of traditional residential architectural styles and detailing
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent graphic communication skills (hand drawing and digital)
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering tools

Preferred
• Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure
• Demonstrated interest in classical and traditional residential design
