Advocacy

AIA Middle Tennessee is committed to elevating the stature of the component and its members as advocates for legislation that advances the profession of architecture.

 

We give voice to our shared values as architects in order to influence the shape of our neighborhoods and our world and to ensure the future health of our profession – through action and communication at the local, state and national levels.

AIA Middle Tennessee is developing a new Government Relations Advocacy Cohort to help members better understand the policy process and strengthen our collective voice across the region.

The cohort will combine training, mentorship, and hands-on engagement focused on building relationships with public leaders, navigating policy conversations, and communicating the value architects bring to civic decision-making.

 

We’ll be looking for members at all career stages and from across Middle Tennessee who want to become more informed and effective advocates for the profession.  More information and call for nominations coming soon.
